From the Explorer and Goggle Jackets, inspired by the interaction between man and nature, to the urban-focused Metropolis Jacket from the Urban Protection line, these pieces showcase the brand’s commitment to innovation, functionality and unique aesthetics. Each one narrates a heritage of craftsmanship and design that set new standards in sportswear.
1988
THE EXPLORER JACKET
Massimo Osti was inspired by a Japanese civil defence hood with sewn-in lenses to develop this jacket. Thanks to a frame specially designed by the Italian company Baruffaldi, a world leader in sports optics, the fabric around the lenses was preserved. The result was the Explorer Jacket, C.P. Company’s first lens-fitted garment, made from Mais fabric and garment dyed with fissato resin treatment.

1988
THE MILLE JACKET
The first of the two legendary “Mille Miglia” Goggle Jackets, used to sponsor the 1988 Mille Miglia race, was made from high-quality raw fabrics and garment dyed using the “cotonizzato” technique. Drawing on the Explorer Jacket collar lenses, Massimo Osti moved them to the hood, added a Watchviewer on the wrist, and incorporated multifunctional pockets inspired by Swiss field jackets.

1999
METROPOLIS JACKET
The most iconic model in the Urban Protection line: the Metropolis. Made from Dynafil, this jacket features a mask with an air filter attached to the hood with press studs. This piece dates back to the AW 1999/00 collection, when the model was first introduced, and is lined with polyester fleece.
